The Kahlo apartment is situated in the heart of Barcelona's 19th century Eixample district, the birthplace of the Modernism movement where Antoni Gaudí is considered the leader. When looking to experience Barcelona's world renowned reputation for leading 19th century architecture, this area is king. With all the Gaudí sites within reach, like the impressive and famous Sagrada Familia, the two well known Gaudí houses of La Pedrera and Casa Battló in the Manzana de la Discordia, the sprawling Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, you will spend hours rambling along and looking upwards. The metro and train stations are within walking distance and take you downtown in five minutes by Plaça Catalunya. There are also numerous bus connections that can be caught on the same street as the building.


The apartment:

The Kahlo apartment has been completely renovated and is located on the top floor which allows for a great deal of natural light. The light wood flooring and white furnishings promote give the apartment a very fresh and clean look.

The apartment has one bedroom with a double bed which is sectioned off from the living space by a half wall and oriental style blinds. The third and fourth guests have use of the comfortable sofa bed in the living room.

The bright living/dining area has been decorated in neutral tones and the floor to ceiling double glazed windows give it a very open and airy feel. Sunshine pours in from the balcony where the dining table is placed... Should you decide on a relaxing night in, you have a TV, DVD, radio and also internet connection.

The completely renovated bathroom is spacious and modern with a large walk-in shower. Fresh towels are provided for use on arrival.

The kitchen, though small, has everything you could need to make your stay a hassle free one...microwave, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, washer/dryer, etc...
