It is located at the port end of Via Laietana amidst a concentration of medieval Gothic buildings only a few blocks from Paseo del Born. This area is a maze of interconnecting dark streets linking with squares, and there are plenty of cafés and bars...

The apartment itself has views of a small plaza below and is just two blocks from the amazing gothic church of Santa Maria del Mar, near the Picasso Museum and the Cathedral.

The apartment:

The apartment building has been newly renovated in accordance with the local architecture and conserves the historic facade of the ancient gothic quarter. The impressive entrance displays the original exposed walls, slate tiled flooring and beautiful wood panelling. A brand new elevator has been installed to transport tired guests up to the third floor studio. The kitchen, bedroom (which contains a large double bed) and living room are all housed in the same large room. The entire apartment is designed tastefully with parquet wood flooring and splendid original paintings.

The kitchen has been newly installed and is fully equipped with vitroceramic counter tops, and all the commonplace items like dishwasher, oven, fridge, pots, pans, coffee machine, fridge etc. The bathroom comprises of a bath/shower unit and is stylishly decorated with mosaic tiling. The whole apartment is fitted with air conditioning (hot/cold) and guests can be entertained by the TV provided. All linens and towels are provided as well as an iron and ironing board.
