Situated in a beautifully renovated building which offers easy access to restaurants and many points of interest in the center of Barcelona.
The Apartment:
This lovely three bedroom apartment is on the fourth floor of a beautifully restored building with elevator.
The living-dining area has a comfortable sofa which is the perfect spot to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. The television has satelitte channels and the apartment has cable internet connection.
The first and second bedrooms each have two single beds. The third bedroom has a single bed and there is a single sofa bed which can be used for a 6th guest. Each bedroom has wardrobe space for your belongings.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you might need for a hassle free stay including, toaster, juicer, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, washing machine...
There are two complete bathrooms, one with bath/shower and the other with a shower unit. Fresh towels and linens are available for use on arrival.
Whether in Barcelona for business or pleasure, the Gothic Attic apartment is ideally situated.

Born
El Born is one of the trendiest neighbourhoods in Barcelona and has become even more so over the last few years, combining a perfect balance between historical treasures, culture and “coolness”; an area very much sought after by the locals as well as the visitors. This area also boasts some of the highest property prices in the city …. This wonderful neighbourhood is full of many great bars, cafes, restaurants and is especially great for one of a kind boutiques as well as other, very well known clothing brands, such as Custo. The Born area is in such a great location, close to the Old Port and the beach, it’s surrounded by all the other cool and interesting places in Barcelona such as Barrio Gotico, Barceloneta, Old Port and Via Laietana. The Park Ciutadella is also a quick 5 minute walk from this area, perfect for a long stroll after a lovely lunch in one of the many terraces the Born has to offer.
A main feature of this great area is the wonderful basilica Santa Maria del Mar, right in front of this magnificent landmark, Barcelona’s guests can enjoy tapas and wine and watch the world go by…Other spots not to miss include Paseo del Born which is full of great bars and makes this area a lively night spot; not far from here is the Picasso museum….. The Born also has it’s own market, Santa Catarina with it’s funky, bright coloured roof. And finally not to be forgotten is the fantastic Palau de la Musica, which is possibly the most dazzling work of modernist architecture present in Barcelona….

The location is excellent. Easy to walk to so many places or take the metro which is just steps away. Apartment was very clean and spacious allowing each of us a private bedroom. Having a washing machine was very helpful! We also felt very safe in this apartment. We loved our stay.

The apartment was spacious and warm and Friendly Rentals was very responsive to our plight when our flight to Barcelona from Frankfurt was cancelled. The office allowed our youngest child, who was studying in Barcelona, to take occupancy of the apartment before the rest of the family arrived, which we much appreciated.

I like the location - best area for everything and I would definitely stay again. It's alive, but not noisy like some other areas of the city. The apartment was spacious, renovated, comfortable, clean. Everything we needed was there! It had a private terrace too! Cute apartment. Home away from home. I miss it. I stayed with my sister and mom and really enjoyed it. Both Mirabel and Mar were helpful and are very sweet.
