The Apartment:
This lovely three bedroom apartment is on the first floor of a beautifully restored building with elevator.
The living-dining area has a comfortable sofa which is the perfect spot to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. The television has satelitte channels and the apartment has cable internet connection.
The spacious master bedroom has a double bed. The second and third bedrooms each have a single bed. There is a single sofa bed which can be used for a 5th guest. Each bedroom has wardrobe space for your belongings.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you might need for a hassle free stay including, toaster, juicer, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, washing machine...
The bathroom comes complete with bath/shower, toilet and washbasin. Fresh towels and linens are available for use on arrival.

Born
El Born is one of the trendiest neighbourhoods in Barcelona and has become even more so over the last few years, combining a perfect balance between historical treasures, culture and “coolness”; an area very much sought after by the locals as well as the visitors. This area also boasts some of the highest property prices in the city …. This wonderful neighbourhood is full of many great bars, cafes, restaurants and is especially great for one of a kind boutiques as well as other, very well known clothing brands, such as Custo. The Born area is in such a great location, close to the Old Port and the beach, it’s surrounded by all the other cool and interesting places in Barcelona such as Barrio Gotico, Barceloneta, Old Port and Via Laietana. The Park Ciutadella is also a quick 5 minute walk from this area, perfect for a long stroll after a lovely lunch in one of the many terraces the Born has to offer.
A main feature of this great area is the wonderful basilica Santa Maria del Mar, right in front of this magnificent landmark, Barcelona’s guests can enjoy tapas and wine and watch the world go by…Other spots not to miss include Paseo del Born which is full of great bars and makes this area a lively night spot; not far from here is the Picasso museum….. The Born also has it’s own market, Santa Catarina with it’s funky, bright coloured roof. And finally not to be forgotten is the fantastic Palau de la Musica, which is possibly the most dazzling work of modernist architecture present in Barcelona….

Location is great! Very spacious apartment and well equipped. Check in and chek out was easy. Martin took our luggage into the office for a couple of hours before we left Barcelona.

Excellent location -just a hop to the Metro and the thriving night life of Barcelona. It simply can not be better!!! Also the free high-speed Internet access worked really well.

The lady who looked after us (Mar) was very good. We had a little problem with the lock on one of the doors getting stuck, and so we rang her. She had solved the problem and got someone to come and fix it within hours of us letting her know, which was fantastic.
Can't honestly think of anything that I did not like. I had a brilliant experience with Friendly Rentals, and I will definitely be using you again for another city trip next year.

It was perfect for our usage. We were close to everything for the reception and for food and restaurants. We definitely would recommend the Gothic 11 to our friends and families. Thanks to Ellie for assisting us in this apartment. She was terrific.
