The area surrounding the apartment:

This lovely apartment is a short walk away from Paseo de Gracia, one of Barcelona's grander avenue-like streets, that starts at Plaza Cataluña and continues till it meets with la Diagonal.

This location will allow the guest to step out of the apartment building and in less than 3 minutes, be in the center of Plaza Cataluña; off of this Plaza the guest will find Las Ramblas, with all the colourful street performers and the wonderful Boqueria market, an absolute must for any visitor to Barcelona...

From the apartment a short 5 minute walk will have you in the heart of the Gothic Quarter and el Born; this very trendy area is one of Barcelona's oldest neighbourhoods. An intricate maze of plaças and squares all interconnected by narrow, medieval streets where you will find lots of trendy boutiques and great bars, cafés and restaurants. This is the area that fell within the medieval walls and, until 150 years ago, made up the entire city of Barcelona.

With bars, clubs and hundreds of restaurants right on the doorstep of the apartment, you do not need to go far to enjoy all that the old town of Barcelona has to offer.

The apartment:

Modern in design, this great three bedroom apartment maintains the high ceilings typical of buildings in the center of Barcelona which gives it an airy feel.

The living area is the ideal spot to sit back and relax after a long day sightseeing. There is a comfortable sofa and a TV and DVD player. This area is flooded with light through the floor to ceiling windows which lead out onto a small balcony. There is a dining table and chairs should you decide to dine at home sampling some of the locally bought fresh produce from one of the many typical markets.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod cons that you could need to make your stay a hassle free one including, coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, etc...

The master bedroom has a double bed and ample wardrobe space for all of your belongings. The second bedroom has two single beds (one stored under the other when not in use) and the third bedroom has one single bed.

The apartment comes with a 2 full bathrooms with shower toilet and washbasin in each. Fresh towels are provided for guests on their arrival.

The living area of the apartment has air-conditioning and there are ceiling fans in the bedrooms.
