This wonderful, luxury apartment is a short walk away from Paseo de Gracia, one of Barcelona's grander avenue-like streets, that starts at Plaza Cataluña and continues till it meets with la Diagonal.

This location will allow the guest to step out of the apartment building and in less than 3 minutes, be in the center of Plaza Cataluña; off of this Plaza the guest will find Las Ramblas, with all the colourful street performers and the wonderful Boqueria market, an absolute must for any visitor to Barcelona...

From the apartment a short 5 minute walk will have you in the heart of the Gothic Quarter and el Born; this very trendy area is one of Barcelona's oldest neighbourhoods. An intricate maze of plaças and squares all interconnected by narrow, medieval streets where you will find lots of trendy boutiques and great bars, cafés and restaurants. This is the area that fell within the medieval walls and, until 150 years ago, made up the entire city of Barcelona.

With bars, clubs and hundreds of restaurants right on the doorstep of the apartment, you do not need to go far to enjoy all that the old town of Barcelona has to offer.

The apartment:


This beautiful apartment will not disappoint. On entering the apartment you have an instant feeling of light and space. The living-dining area is designed in a modern and stylish manner with a large and comfortable corner sofa where you can relax while watching TV or a DVD or enjoying a nice glass of Spanish wine. This area is flooded with light and leads out onto the terrace of 40m2 which has wonderful views over the city including the Sagrada Familia, the Torre Agbar and even of the sea.

Leading off the living area, you will find a modern and fully equipped kitchen with everything that you would need to make your stay hassle free including coffee maker, juicer, toaster, washing machine, etc.

The apartment has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has french windows leading out onto the terrace. This bedroom has a comfortable double bed, ample wardrobe space for your belongings, a flat screen tv and a full en-suite bathroom including bath/shower unit. The second bedroom also has a double bed and wardrobe space. The third bedroom has a single bed and due to the work table, can be used as a small office for those coming to Barcelona on Business.

The second bathroom is complete with toilet, washbasin and shower unit. Both bathrooms come with fresh towels ready for your use on arrival.

The apartment has air-conditioning and heating to make your stay comfortable no matter what time of year you choose to visit and also has wireless internet.

The minimum age for this apartment is 30 years.

Same sex groups are not permitted in this apartment.

Plaza Cataluña/Paseo de Gracia

Plaza Cataluña
Catalonia Square is the largest square in the centre with 30.000 meters square it is the third biggest square in Spain. Some of the most important streets and Avenue interconnects with this important square, famous for its fountain, and statues. Until almost half of 19th century the Plaça de Catalunya was mainly a rural zone located outside the city walls.
It was only in 1858 that the Madrid's central government finally ordered the defensive walls to be torn down., approving also the construction outside the walls so a public contest was organized in search of a design of a new district. The first place was awarded to a design by Rovira i Trias but the head government ended up choosing a far more modern design with a grid plan by Ildefons Cerdà.
Eventually the local and head government agreed add a new plan. A design by the architect Puig i Cadafalch (author of the modernist building 'Casa de les Punxes') resulted in the current enormous square, created between 1925 and 1927.
Nowadays it is also a main interconnecting point, where transport is widely available, such as metro, buses, taxis, etc. And it is there that the airport bus and the touristic double decker bus have its last and first stop at Plaza Catalunya, right opposite to the famous department store, El Corte Inglés.

Passeo de Gracia
 One of the most famous Avenues in Barcelona and it is a 1.50 kilometers stroll to Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas, Passeig de Gracia is the street that has the most designer shops per meter square in the whole of Barcelona. From this location, other zones of interest such as the Gothic Quarter, and the very trendy El Borne are just a stone's thrown away.
Visitors staying at this area will find the superb food and produce market called La Boqueria on Las Ramblas, an absolute must for any visitor to Barcelona and will be able to stroll along the very up market Passeig de Gracia with its designer shops and some of Gaudí's most emblematic buildings such as Casa Battló and La Pedrera which have been listed as Human Heritage buildings by the Unesco. This popular Avenue is the closest to The Champs Elysés in Paris, right here is the vibrant capital of Catalonia. The first urbanistic proyect that gave life to this amazing avenue begun back in 1821 by the famous architect Ramon Plana.
Guests are expected to have a shopping experience just waiting to happen all around you. Paseo de Gracia alone will keep you busy for hours.

    La ubicación es inmejorable, cerca de las mejores zonas de Barcelona (Paseo de Gracia, el Barrio Gótico, Las Ramblas, Plaza Cataluña). Todo lo necesario está cerca (metro, supermercados, restaurantes. El Edificio buenisimo, impecable, los ascensores grandes y muy buena la atención de la sra encargada.  Y lo mejor de todo? ... el apartamento, simplemente espectacular!!!! nos sentimos como en casa. La lencería de primera, el equipamiento perfecto, la decoración agradable, la terraza la disfrutamos aún siendo invierno, las plantas naturales le daban vida a todo, la vista divina y el lavandero muy útil.     The balcony was AMAZING! Our greeter, Fabio was delightful. We were met at the specific pre-arranged time and departed at 7 am with prompt & kind service as well.
