The Casa de les Letres is a six flat apartment building carefully restored that unifies avant-garde design with century old tradition and is planned on a literary basis.
The building's singularity lies in the fact that each one of the apartments is inspired by an author who holds a special relationship with the city of Barcelona. The building is in Barcelona’s old town district, next to the Born neighborhood and in front of Port Vell, an ideal location from which to explore and enjoy the town. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH THE BUILDING HAS AN ELEVATOR, YOU MUST CLIMB SOME STEPS ON EACH FLOOR.
The building has videosurveillance and each apartment has a safety deposit box. The apartments have fully furnished kitchens and bathrooms, internet connection and Satellite TV. There is also a daily cleaning service from Monday to Friday and for stays of 6-nights or more, clients receive a welcome package.
The apartment:
This cozy large-window attic with city views from the terrace guarantees a peaceful and relaxed stay.
The living room’s glass roof will allow you to fully enjoy the natural light during the day and at the same time to star gaze at night. The private terrace is a wonderful and comfortable extension to the living room.
The double bed bedroom has an en-suite modern design bathroom with some hints at the building’s historic construction patterns. An extra guest can sleep on the sofa bed located in the living room.
The bathroom and the kitchen are fully equipped for your convenience. The flat also has internet connection, television and Satellite TV.
The area surrounding the apartment:
The flat’s location is excellent: in front of the Mediterranean Sea and in the midst of the historic center of Barcelona, the El Born and the Gothic neighborhoods. Approximately five minutes from the Santa Maria del Mar church, from the Barcelona Cathedral, from the Picasso Museum, from the Ramblas and Barceloneta beach.
The apartment is conveniently located next to subway and bus stops making it the perfect choice for your stay in Barcelona.
