The Calypso I apartment is situated in the heart of Barcelona's Eixample district, the birthplace of the Modernism movement where Antoni Gaudí is considered the leader. When looking to experience Barcelona's world renowned reputation for leading 19th century architecture, this area is king. There are many "must see" attractions in this area, especially the Gaudí sites - the impressive and famous Sagrada Familia, the two famous Gaudí houses La Pedrera and Casa Batlló in the Manzana de la Discordia and the sprawling Hospital de la Santa Creu in Sant Pau - all within walking distance.

The Calypso I apartment has one double bedroom and 2 comfortable double sofa beds - each in a seperate area. It is a perfect choice for a family or group of friends coming to visit Barcelona...

Entering the apartment, you pass through a comfortable seating area which has one of the double sofa beds. This area can be completely isolated from the rest of the apartment by opaque glass sliding doors...

The large kitchen is fully equiped with all of the mod cons that you would expect in a modern kitchen to ensure guesst can prepare meals should they wish to...

From the kitchen, guests enter the large and spacious dining/living area. This area has a zen like feel to it, with a water fountain feature to help you kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing or shopping, there is also a TV and DVD...the dining table is large enough to accomodate six guests comfortable and the second of the double sofa beds is also in this wonderful space...

The master bedroom with a comfortable double bed,has a warm welcoming feel to it and combines modern lines with a beautiful exposed brick wall.

The designer bathroom comes with shower, toilet, washbasin and fresh towels ready for use on arrival.
