The area surrounding the apartment:

The Mirador apartment is located right in the middle of Barcelona city, making it accessible to all areas of interest in Barcelona such as the Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas, El Borne and Plaça Catalunya. A short walk from the apartment you will find the superb food and produce market called La Boqueria on Las Ramblas, an absolute must for any visitor to Barcelona. The apartment offers a quiet reprive from the bustling and very busy Las Ramblas but close enough for guests to walk to where the action is - two to three minutes on foot. The fantastic terrace of this apartment is an increadible bonus!!!

Walk out the front door of the apartment building and walk across the street and you will find yourself in the heart of the very trendy El Borne area, one of Barcelona's oldest neighbourhoods. El Borne is made up of an intricate maze of plaças and squares all interconnected by narrow, medieval streets where you will find lots of trendy boutiques and great bars, cafes and restaurants. Another option for the visitor staying at this great Barcelona apartment is to visit the Gothic quarter situated right in the heart of the old town. This is the area that fell within the medieval walls and, until 150 years ago, made up the entire city of Barcelona. The area is a body of interconnecting narrow, cobble stoned streets where you can potter around for hours and explore the shops and restaurants.

The apartment:

The Mirador apartment has been completely renovated and modernized to achieve the quality and high standard necessary to make this a luxury apartment for our visitor to Barcelona. The master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom which comes with a bath/shower unit, WC, sink , etc... guests will find fresh towels ready for use upon arrival... the bedroom is modern and original in style and the guest will feel most welcome and at home ....

The living room area of the apartment encompasses the comfortable and stylish sofa and coffee table; this area is great for chilling out and relaxing after a hard day's shopping or sightseeing! It is here that sunlight pours into the apartment though the large windows creating a lovely relaxed ambience. There are two seating areas, one against the wall in the living room and the other is a “window seat” both of which come with mattresses; these are the sleeping areas in the evening for the 3rd and 4th guests...... please note that all guests must access the bathroom through the bedroom as it is en-suite.....

The kitchen of this great apartment is very modern and equipped with all mod cons so guests can prepare meals should they wish to.... the guest will find all the comforts of home such as toaster, juicer, kettle, etc, to make your visit to Barcelona easy and stress free.

One of the main featuress of this great apartment is the absolutely fabulous terrace; this is a private terrace solely for the use of the guests of the Mirador apartment.. it is without a doubt an absolute luxury to have such a space in the middle of the city. Here the guest will be able to relax and enjoy some of Spain's fantastic wine, cheese and local products...
