The area surrounding the apartment:

The Sert I apartment is situated right in the centre of Barcelona, literally 5-7 minutes walk from the main Square or Placa called Placa Catalunya, the famous Las Ramblas, the old town or Gothic Quarter and Borne. The apartment itself is in a "pasaje" which is a small narrow street connecting two, larger and busier streets, so although in a great location and very central, it is also a quiet apartment. The closest point of interest to the apartment is the Palau de la Musica which is possibly the most dazzling work of Modernista architecture present in Barcelona. This is located a mere 3-4 minute walk from the apartment building. Other areas of interest within walking distance from the apartment are the famous Las Ramblas, the Liceu opera house, the Barcelona City Hall in Placa Jaume, the grandiose Gothic Cathedral which is a few blocks from the apartment as well as the remains of the old Roman Walls coupled with many more treats from Barcelona's ancient and medieval past.

The apartment:

The Sert I apartment is located on the first floor of a renovated old factory in Old Town of Barcelona. The Sert I apartment is a great place to stay during your visit to Barcelona. The loft has high ceilings and lots of windows, which means the loft has lots of natural light. It is very spacious and ideal for anyone wishing to be in the thick of things yet still enjoy some quiet time after many a busy day of sightseeing or shopping.
The living area is very pleasant, sleek and modern in look with simple colours and tasteful furniture, allows you to sit back and relax while enjoying the use of TV, DVD and Stereo.

There are three bedrooms in this great loft style apartment; the main bedroom has a double bed with it's own en-suite bathroom, complete with bathtub, independant shower unit, WC, sink, etc; the second bedroom comes with two double beds, with it's own en-suite bathroom, complete with bath/shower unit, WC, sink etc..... the third and smaller of the three bedrooms comes with one single bed and also has it's own bathroom, this bathroom comes with a shower unit, WC, sink, etc; PLEASE NOTE the third smaller bedroom is where the washer unit is located in this apartment....

The kitchen is separate from the living area, although not private and is on a par with the rest of the apartment; modern and fully equipped with mircrowave, dishwasher, pots and pans, etc will ensure the guests can prepare meals should they wish to..
