The Divina apartment is situated in the heart of the Borne which is the trendy and upbeat part of the Old Town in Barcelona. It lays right next to the Gothic quarter of Barcelona which is the oldest part of the city. The Barrio Gótico contains a concentration of medieval Gothic buildings only a few blocks northeast of Las Ramblas. It is a maze of interconnecting dark streets linking with squares, and there are plenty of cafés and bars. The apartment itself is close to Paseo del Born which is 50 meters to the amazing gothic church of Santa Maria del Mar, the Picasso Museum, the Cathedral and the port.

This truly amazing apartment is an absolute pleasure from the moment the guest walks in through the front door into the hall where you will find a modernist chandelier and wardrobe. The Divina apartment is full of charm and character and has been decorated perfectly, with such great features as the original exposed wooden beams to be found in the ceilings throughout the apartment, as well as the wonderful mosaic tiling in certain parts of the apartment, the increadible stained glass in the kitchen and bathroom, all make this apartment absolutely unique and unforgetable.

The Divina apartment has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms come with double beds, the master bedroom has a spectacular double bed and comes with wardrobe space for the guests belongings, the furniture is by Gaspar Homar. Both of these bedrooms have lots of natural light as they are exterior facing and have large, floor to ceiling french windows. The other two bedrooms are decorated in a kid friendly fashion and sleep one person in each room, and are a really nice feature in the house. Most of the apartment comes with hard wood floor which adds to the warmth and welcoming feel throughout the apartment.

The living room is quite spectacular, with exposed brick in one of the walls, the typical exposed wooden beams and the most unique and wonderful objects that are used to decorate the room such as " el sofa de la alfombra magica de Tusquet" the magic carpet sofa, make it a truly lovely place to sit back and relax before heading out for a meal in one of Barcelona's excellent restaurants, or to recover from a day of sightseeing or shopping.

Another wonderful room in the Divina apartment is the kitchen. The kitchen itself is brand new and blends beautifully with the lovely tiles found throughout the kitchen. Here you will also find a large antique table and chairs so that you can enjoy any meal you may decide to prepare. The kitchen comes with all the basic mod cons in order to make your visit to Barcelona a hassle free one.

The two bathrooms are very different from one another, while one is traditional and rustic in style the other has a clean and modern look and feel about it. The rustic bathroom comes with a wonderful free standing bath and has the most amazing mosaic tiling on the floor and a wonderful modernista stained glass feature. The modern bathroom also comes with a bath which is also a shower unit. Both bathrooms are comfortable and come with fresh towels ready for your use upon arrival.
