This great apartment is located near Plaza San Jaume and it's nearest metro station is also San Jaume I, on the yellow line.... this Plaza is next to the Ayuntamiento and about a 3-5 min walk from the very famous La Rambla...

The guest staying at this apartment will find themselves right in the middle of Barcelona city, with easy access to all areas of interest in Barcelona such as the Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas, El Borne and Plaça Catalunya.

A short walk from the apartment you will find the superb food and produce market called La Boqueria on Las Ramblas, an absolute must for any visitor to Barcelona. The apartment offers a quiet reprive from the bustling and very busy Las Ramblas but close enough for guests to walk to where the action is - two, three minutes on foot.

Walk out the front door of the apartment building and walk for approximately 5 mins and you will find yourself in the heart of the very trendy El Borne area, one of Barcelona's oldest neighbourhoods. An intricate maze of plaças and squares all interconnected by narrow, medieval streets where you will find lots of trendy boutiques and great bars, cafés and restaurants. As mentioned above the guest staying at this aparmtent is literally in the Gothic Quarter, right in the heart of the old town. This is the area that fell within the medieval walls and, until 150 years ago, made up the entire city of Barcelona. The area is a body of interconnecting narrow, cobble stoned streets where you can potter around for hours exploring the shops and restaurants.

The Apartment;

The Font apartment is a great 3 bedroom apartment with three bathrooms, located in a registered building and has also recently (march 07) been refurbished...

With lots of balconies and exterior facing this apartment has plenty of natura light, guests can also enjoy the small indoor terrace with table and chairs while staying here...

Two of the three bedrooms has two single beds, that can be placed together to make double beds... each bedroom comes with wardrobe space for the guests belongings and the whole apartment has lovely hard wood floors, adding a touch of warmth to the whole apartment......

The decor of the apartment is simple and elegant and the large, modern and spacious kitchen is wonderful should guests feel like preparing a meal... the touches of blue add a lot of charm to this room...

The bathrooms of the Font apartment, one of which is en-suite while the other two are independant are all full bathrooms... the en-suite, as well as one of the other bathrooms, comes with a shower unit and sink, WC, etc the third bathroom comes with a bath, WC, sink, etc... all bathrooms come equipped with fresh towels upon arrival...

The living room is a large spacious area where guests can sit back and enjoy the use of TV, DVD, satellite TV after a hard day of sightseeing or before heading off to explore what Barcelona nightlife is all about.... this apartment also comes with a study/office room where there is a single sofa-bed for the 7th guest ...
