The Girasol Apartment is located in the Eixample area of Barcelona, a more residential area than the Cituat Vella, but very much central Barcelona....

Located to the right of Paseo de Gracia, Barcelona's rather grand main shopping avenue in the centre of town, this fantastic apartment offers a quiet reprieve from the hustle and bustle of downtown, yet still near enough to enjoy all the sights and everything else downtown has to offer.... areas of interest within easy walking distance are the amazing Sagrada Familia and also the area known as Gracia, a charming, very local part of town known for it's energy and great atmosphere ...

For areas such as Barrio Gotico, El Born and La Rambla a short 15 min trip via metro or bus will have you in the thick of things... taxi's are also inexpensive in Barcelona....... the nearest metro to this apartment is Camp de L'Aparta, which is on the blue line...

The Apartment;

The Girasol apartment is on the third floor (REAL FOURTH ) with NO elevator in the building; (there are plans to install an elevator at the end of the year);

This great apartment comprises of a cheerful and sunny living room as the french doors open up on the lovely terrace where the guest can enjoy the sunny days while drinking a nice bottle of vino tinto and nibbling on some fantastic "fuet" or "manchego" al fresco... this area has been furnished with table and chairs, parasol and lounge chair.....

This apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom; the main bedroom comes with two single beds and some hanging space for the guests belongings and the second bedroom comes with bunk beds... both rooms are furnished in a simple yet elegant manner... the bathroom of this apartment comes with a bath/shower unit, WC, toilet, etc and here the guests will find fresh towels and a hairdryer for use upon arrival...

The kitchen of the Girasol apartment is open plan and fuly equipped to ensure a hassle free stay, here the guest can prepare any meal should he choose to..
