The Musica Terrace Apartment in Barcelona

A superb apartment in the middle of the city centre with a huge sunny terrace!

The Musica apartment is located just beside the Palau de la Musica (Music Palace). The Palau de la Música Catalana is one of the world's leading concert halls. Considered to be one of Modernism's chief exponents, it was built by architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner between 1905 and 1908. In 1997 it was declared a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO.

The Palau de la Musica is minutes walk from the main Square or Placa called Placa Catalunya, the famous Las Ramblas, the old town or Gothic Quarter and Borne. The apartment is located in a quiet street where cars do not have access.

The apartment is very large and has wonderful high ceilings, typical of these fantastic old builidings in Barcelona, which makes the apartment feel even more spaicous! The apartment has been refurbished and the finishing details and decor have been done in an elegant, colourful and stylish manner.

The apartment has wooden floors and is furnished with brand new luxury and comfortable furnish. The apartment also comes equipped with air conditioning and central heater and WiFi ADSL so the guest really does have everything to make his stay a hassle free one. The large livingroom gives acces to the wonderful terrace you see in the photographs. This area has been equipped with very nice outdoor furniture to ensure the guest can sit outside and enjoy many a meal al freco and enjoy all the regional products you just bought at the Santa Catherina food market (just 5 minutes from the apartment) together with some Penedes wine...

There are four bedrooms with two single beds in each. The apartment is equipped with large build-in wardrobe space so that there is ample space for everyones belongings.

The living/dining room is a large and inviting area; the focal point is shared by the "L" shaped red sofa with plenty of cushions and the wonderful mosaic tile design in the centre of the hardwood floor; the area is welcoming and relaxing and is a wonderful area to relax in and watch some TV (many international channels) or a movie on the DVD, or just listen to some music on the CD player. In this area you can also find the dining table and chairs. Above the living area you will find a mezzanine area with a double sofa-bed.

Please note, this area is not private, it is separated by a portable screen.

The kitchen is modern and equipped with all the usual household items needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible, such as pots, pans, sivlerware, plates, cups, glasses, toaster, juicer, fridge, washer, etc........
