In the Northern part of the district, the Old-South neighborhood is located. Luxurious boutiques, cafés and the majestic Concert Building can be found here. This is considered being the chicest part of the city. In streets like the P.C. Hooftstraat en Van Baerlestraat the latest fashion and exclusive brands are well represented. Also the amazing Vondelpark is located in this district. The Southern part of the district is the business centre of Amsterdam. There are mainly big offices of lawyer firms and multinationals. The modern architecture make some parts look futuristic and the public transportation towards the city and airport is great.
