The area surrounding the apartment:

The Rainbow apartment is situated in the central neighborhood of Trastevere, on the west bank of the Tiber. Trastevere is the perfect place to glimpse a bit of the old world while still enjoying the lifestyle of today's Romans. This district becomes very lively especially at night as it is full of trendy bars and dozens of quality restaurants and pizzerias, where you can taste great Italian food at reasonable prices.

On Sundays morning, you cannot miss the popular Portaportese market, Rome’s biggest flea market which is held in the area of the Rainbow apartment. Portaportese is a milelong sprawl of booths and makeshift tabletops where everything can be found starting from new and old clothes to rare pieces of antique furniture. Don’t be afraid to try bargaining here and don’t worry about the language barrier because the vendors are used to foreigners and have their own ways of communicating…

The Rainbow apartment is also conveniently located two blocks away from a tram stop of a major line which is constantly (every two minutes) connecting the area, in less than 10 minutes, to Largo di Torre Argentina, in the historical center of Rome. From here you can reach on foot the most important historical and cultural attractions including Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.

The apartment is approximately a 10 minute walk from the Trastevere railway station, from which you can catch trains to Fiumicino and Ciampino airports as well as other destinations in Italy.

Located on the fourth floor of a building with elevator, this really lovely one bedroom apartment offers the guests a high quality, warm and welcoming accommodation during their visit to Rome... High-style fittings, gold wooden floors and original colored artworks which change from room-to-room give the Rainbow apartment its one-of-a-kind feeling.

This great apartment comprises of a cheerful and sunny bedroom which offers a double bed and plenty of wardarobe space for the guests’ belongings.
The living room is a perfect place where you can relax all your senses after a day of city adventuring and comes with a dining table, satellite TV, DVD, Playstation and two comfy sofas, one of which has a pull out bed to provide sleeping space for the third and fourth guests.

The kitchen is new and modern and comes fully equipped with everything the guests might need to prepare a meal or some snacks.... The pretty bathroom is beautifully designed, and comes with a shower unit as well as a hairdryer. Bed linens and clean towels are all provided.

The Rainbow also includes air conditioning in the bedroom, heating and double glazed windows in all rooms to provide the guests with the maximum level of comfort.
