The Apartment.
The Bulevard Deluxe apartment is a lovely four bedroom apartment located on the ground floor (there are a few steps to climb before entering the apartment) The apartment is in one of the many beautifully preserved buildings with doorman that you still find on this elegant boulevard. The apartment has been completely renovated to a high standard to ensure every comfort for guests.
The apartment comes with four bedrooms. There are two spacious double bedrooms with ample wardrobe space and access to a private terrace. These bedrooms also have a small gallery area allowing the sunlight to flood in.
Of the two smaller bedrooms one has two single beds and wardrobe space for your belongings. The final bedroom has two single sofa beds - one of which is stored under the other when not in use. Alternatively, if these beds are not required, this room can be used as a small chill-out room and is the perfect spot to sit back with a bottle of wine and a book...
The tastefully decorated living area has a comfortable sofa which converts into a double bed for two additional guests. The dining table is located between the living area and kitchen which has been designed in an open plan way to ensure that the holiday chef is not separated from the rest of the group.
The spacious kitchen comes fully equipped with all the mod cons necessary to make your trip a stress free one like microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher,etc.
There are two full bathrooms each equipped with spacious walk in showers. Fresh towels and linens are provided for your arrival.

Plaza Cataluña/Paseo de Gracia
Plaza Cataluña
Welcher auf Deutschübersetzt der Katalanische Platz bedeutet, ist der grösste Platz mi Zentrum Barcelonas und mit seinen 30000 Quadratmetern der drittgrösste Platz Spaniens. Einige der wichtigsten Strassen der Stadt sind mit dem Platz, welcher für seinen berühmten Brunnen und seine Statuen berühmt ist, verbunden. Bis ungefähr zur Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts lag der Platz ausserhalb der Stadtmauern.
Erst in 1858, durch eine Entscheidung der Regierung in Madrid, wurden die defensieven Stadtmauern abgerissen und somit erhielten die Barceloner die Möglichkeit auch ausserhalb des Stadtzenters zu bauen und somit wurde ein Volksentscheid über die Gestaltung eines neuen Viertels wurde gefällt. Der Entscheid viel auf Puig und Cadafalch (Architekt des modernistischen Gebäudes “Casa de les Punxes”) und endete in dem heutigen enormen Platz, entstanden zwischen 1925 und 1927.
Heutzutage ist es einer der Haupt-Treffpunte, verkehrstechnich sehr gut angebunden mit U-Bahn, Bus und Taxi. Ausserdem befindet sich dort die Bushaltestelle des Flughafenbusses und des Doppeldecker Stadtrundfahrtsbusses gleich gegenüber des Berühmten Kaufhauses “El Corte Inglés”.
Passeo de Gracia
Dieses ist eine der berühmtesten Strassen Barcelonas und man schlendert 1,5 KM zum “Plaza Cataluña” und zum “Las Ramblas”. Die “Passeig de Gracia” ist die Strasse mit den meisten Designerboutiquen per Quadratmeter in Barcelona. Von diesem Standpunkt erreicht man mit leichtigkeit weitere interessante Viertel wie das gothische Viertel sowie das trendige “El Borne”.
Besucher die in dieser Gegend wohnen können mit Leichtigkeit den berühmten Essensmarkt “La Boqueria”, ein Muss für jeden, auf der “Las Ramblas” entdecken. Ausserdem werden Sie die “Passeige de Gracia” mit ihren Designerboutiquen und Gaudis berühmten architektonischen Kunstwerken, dem “casa Battló” und dem “La Pedrera” welche als Weltkulturerbe bei der UNESCO eingeschrieben sind, erkunden können. Diese beliebte Strasse ähnelt sehr dem “Champs Eliseé” in Paris und formt das eigentliche Stadtzenter. Das erste urbane Projekt, welches dieser Strasse das Leben einhauchte, begann in 1821 und wurde vom Architekten Ramon Plana gestaltet.
Auf der “Passeig de Gracia” kann man sich problemlos für Stunden beschäftigen, nicht nur mit den Zahlreichen Boutiquen.
