This incredible loft style apartment is modern, comfortable and centrally located. It has been decorated tastefully with and modern look which makes a nice and relaxing atmosphere for you to sit back after a long day of shopping or a day of exploring the surrounding medieval area in the heart of Barcelona.

The area surrounding the apartment:

The Sert II apartment is situated right in the centre of Barcelona, literally 5-7 minutes walk from the main Square or Placa called Placa Catalunya, the famous Las Ramblas, the old town or Gothic Quarter and Borne. The apartment itself is in a "pasaje" which is a small narrow street connecting two, larger and busier streets, so although in a great location and very central, it is also a quiet apartment. The closest point of interest to the apartment is the Palau de la Musica which is possibly the most dazzling work of Modernista architecture present in Barcelona. This is located a mere 3-4 minute walk from the apartment building. Other areas of interest within walking distance from the apartment are the famous Las Ramblas, the Liceu opera house, the Barcelona City Hall in Placa Jaume, the grandiose Gothic Cathedral which is a few blocks from the apartment as well as the remains of the old Roman Walls coupled with many more treats from Barcelona's ancient and medieval past.

The apartment:

The Sert II apartment is located on the fourth floor of a renovated old factory in the Old Town of Barcelona. The apartment is the perfect place to stay during your visit to Barcelona. Loft style with high ceilings and lots of windows, which means it has lots of natural light flooding in. It is very spacious and ideal for anyone wishing to be in the thick of things yet still enjoy some quiet time after many a busy day of sightseeing or shopping.

The apartment has two very ample living areas. On entering the apartment you will find yourself in a seating area with comfortable chairs and bookshelves, a great spot to kick back and relax. There is also a table and chairs in this area which can be used as a workspace if you have any work to do.

The second bedroom which has a double bed, TV, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom complete with shower unit, toilet and washbasin can also be found in this part of the apartment.

The open plan kitchen and dining room is extremely spacious and has everything that you would need to make your stay comfortable including microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. There are two large dining tables one with beautiful carved wooden chairs and the other with more traditional dining chairs. More than enough space to dine in comfort.

Moving on to another seating area, you will find comfortable sofas and large floor cushions in front of an decorative fireplace. For the young at heart, there is also a large swing in this area!

The master bedroom follows on behind this and you will find another comfortable double bed, flat screen TV and lots of wardrobe space for all of your belongings. This bedroom has the use of a beautiful and spacious en-suite bathroom with seperate shower, toilet, washbasin and a lovely area with sofa for some relaxing moments.

The apartment also has a small terrace looking out onto an interior patio.
