A general strike has been called by the Spanish trade unions for the 29th of September meaning that the bulk of the security services, public transport, cleaning, as well as medical and hospital services will be affected. For this reason, the organisers of the U2 concert in the Seville Olympic Stadium have changed the date of the concert from the 29th to the 30th of September. The aforementioned fundamental services are essential for the concert to take place under all the necessary safety conditions.
Thus, those that have bought a ticket will not have to make any changes to suit the new date. Similarly, those who are unable to attend the concert on the 30th of September can get their money back at the sales points where they bought their tickets but only before the 10th of September.
The U2 360º Tour will be passing through the town of San Sebastian on the 26th of September and on both dates, the back-up band will be the New York group Interpol.
