VisitArte4, Free entrance and guided
tours in Seville art galleries
For the fourth year in a row VisitArte
is taking place in Seville. Thus, thanks to this initiative which
aims to promote art centres visitors may enter free and enjoy free
guided tours around Seville art galleries by the exhibition curators
or even the artists themselves.
This is an excellent opportunity to
visit the galleries in Seville for free and ask questions or clear up
any doubts that you may have with the artist, something that could be
very useful. Art is so symbolic and subjective that quite often we
can get lost in the muddle of images, double meanings, and the
endless symbols that make it really difficult to understand the
meaning or objective of the art work.
Visits will start at 13h and finish at
a decent time so that those attending can have some wine with the
organisers and talk about what they felt about the exhibitions, if
they fancy it. They start on Saturday the 22nd of January
in the Rafael Ortiz Gallery that has devoted its time to diffusing
works by young artists, as well as exhibitions with works from
artists of international prestige.
