From the 30th of September to the 3rd of October, the 10th edition of the famous ´Romics` or Comics and Animated Film Festival will be taking place in the New Rome Fair, in Rome. An unmissable event for comic strip and cartoon fanatics alike, as well as those who are just merely curious to those who feel like taking a look at the exhibitions and meeting famous comic book and motion picture characters.
Over the four days that the Romics festival is being held, comic book authors such as Chris Ware, Claudio Villa and the famous Japanese author Ryoko Ikeda, one of the creators of Shôjo Manga (manga for girls), will be attending, in addition to the creator of ´La Rosa de Versailles` or ´Lady Oscar`. Different animated film directors will also be attending to interact with film festivalgoers, the reason for which the event is being held.
The main attraction of the event is the Cosplay catwalk (costume roleplay) where the most ardent comic book and animation film followers dress up as some of the most famous, or their favourite comic book characters something that is getting an increasing number of followers every year.
This festival is an event that is entirely dedicated to all comic book and animation film followers of whatever age, who love characters created by the most original artists.
