First National Food Festival in ParisTaking place this Friday the 23rd of September for the first time ever is the “Fête de la Gastronomie” (National Food Festival) all across France. Paris will of course be at the heart of this Gastro Fest which is not only featuring the most events but the most impressive.

Le Marché des Enfants Rouges: a market to awaken your senses in ParisParis has an abundance of historical monuments that makes wondering around the streets of this enchanting city a wonderful experience, and amongst these many legendary buildings you will find the market selling the oldest food in the city. ´Le Marché des Enfants Rouges` dates back to 1615 when Luis XIII reigned, and its name literally means ´the Market of the Red Children, ` a name that was given to this event in the XVII century taken from an old orphanage where the children all dressed in red uniforms.
