Valentine’s Day in New York
Romantic Horse Drawn Carriage Ride
Horse Drawn Carriage Ride in Central Park, a classic in New York and on Saint Valentine’s Day something that practically every couple wants to do in the Big Apple. If you would like to try this rather romantic activity then there are two different types of rides to choose from: your standard ride (booking not required) through Central Park which last approximately 20 minutes, although you can pay for additional time, and longer rides are negotiable. There are also pre-arranged carriage rides, which you can book in advance to make sure there is a carriage available. The price corresponds to the length of the ride, and they range from 41 minutes to two and a half hours. In addition, carriage rides can also be tailored to meet personal preferences for various occasions, although you do have to book for these custom rides. Finally, things that you will see on your romantic tour include: The Wollman Rink, Pond, Zoo, Sheep Meadow, Mall (statues), Dairy (tourist information centre), the Carousel and the Dakota (where the former Beatle John Lennon lived). The approximate distance of the ride is .75 miles, and the pre-arranged ride includes additional sites as well.
Panoramic views of New York, the city of skyscrapers

To enjoy some of the best views in New York, the Top of the Rock Observation Deck is definitely a romantic must. Located at Rockefeller Centre, the top of the rock observation deck is 70 floors high, and offers visitors a stunning and unobstructed 360º view of the city that you can enjoy with your partner.
Speaking of panoramic views, there is nothing like relaxing on a terrace whilst admiring the splendid view of the city of skyscrapers. Amongst the best and highest bars in the city is the 230 5thwhich offers the best view of the Empire State building and where you can try an excellent cocktail or tasty dish from their extensive menu. The Highbar is another famous bar/terrace in New York which offers you some stunning views of the city whilst you drink a cocktail and try a dish from their vast menu with your loved one. The highest club in the city is the Sky Room which is definitely worth a visit. It occupies floor 33 and 34 of a recently built building and has a minimalist look with a romantic atmosphere, which you can enjoy whilst relaxing and sipping on a delicious drink in the highest club in the world.
And of course, we couldn’t fail to mention the St Valentine’s Day Marriage Marathon on the Empire State Building whereby 14 fortunate couples are joined together in wedded bliss for the bargain price of nothing, and who were fortunate enough to be selected to join the Top of the World Marriage Club. Not only is the wedding free, but also the honeymoon, the destination unknown to the newlyweds but again for the modest price of nothing. So, all that remains to be done is wish the newly married couples good luck for the future.
