Apartment of the week, the Salamanca

It sleeps 4 people, has two bedrooms and bathrooms and is situated in one of the best areas in Madrid, right in the heart of the Salamanca district. It is just a few minutes walk away from the Prado Museum, Retiro Park and other green spaces and gardens where you can enjoy some pleasant walks in the afternoon.
Salamanca is a pretty and quiet residential area, with classic style buildings. In addition, there is plenty of public transport going to the city centre and the main tourist sites in Madrid from the district including La Puerta de Alcalá, la Puerta del Sol and la Cibeles, etc.
The Salamanca apartment is elegant and comfortable. It has a comfortable double bed in the master bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom making it perfect for a family or small group of friends.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook whatever you fancy. There is always this, however if you fancy some tapas or some typical Madrid cuisine then you can simply head down to one of the many bars or restaurants located nearby to the apartment. This is definitely something you should do at least once during your time in Madrid because the life there is on the streets, terraces and in the outdoor spaces.
In addition to the many leisure activities on offer in Madrid, up until the end of August you will be able to enjoy a rich programme of music, dance, opera and theatre in the Verano de Villas festival, which livens up the summer evenings in Madrid every year.
