Halloween Under The Sea – Something for the kids. A Halloween-themed tour of the Natural History Museum with a special peek at the world’s weirdest sea creatures on the scariest day of the year. Phobophobia – This year’s London Bridge Experience and London Tombs offering. You’re most definitely in for a scare in their Halloween special complete with dark corners, creepy clowns, slithering snakes and gruesome ghouls. There are family friendly daytime shows and then a Burial Alive charity Ball in the evening featuring dinner, drinks and entertainment. Pumpkin Carving Competitions – Something for all the family to enjoy at Fortnum and Mason’s. The first competition is for over 3`s and the second for over 11’s. The events also include a prize for the best fancy dress, the chance to win a £1,000 Fortnum and Mason hamper and lots of pumpkins on sale in store to create your own Halloween masterpiece. Ghostly Tours and Ghoulish Supper – The Old Royal Naval College, one of London’s most famous riverside landmarks, is offering a lantern-lit tour of the premises this Halloween followed by a delicious bangers and mash supper in the Painted Hall. Pumpkino – The Cinema Museum will be screening an array of supernatural and scary cinema in their tribute to the most terrifying night of the year. Included in the ticket price is a mystery movie, a two course Halloween-themed dinner, horror film clips, free entry into the Cinema Museum, the chance to participate in their ghoulish quiz, a drink at the bar and prizes awarded for the scariest fancy dress. London Eye and the Wicked Witch of the London Sky – One of London’s most prominent attractions will be making its own little contribution to Halloween with a wicked witch-themed event. Children and adults alike will be able to enjoy stunning panoramic views of London whilst enjoying spooky tales of Wilhelmina the Witch from a costumed storyteller. London Canal Museum Boat Trip – They will be offering a unique trip through the 192 year old Islington Tunnel at Halloween on board a specially decorated and themed narrow boat for an authentic experience. Expect some scary surprises in the darkness, maybe the odd witch on the journey, as well as sweets and a free glowstick for the kids!
