ladies but its official, Prince William is getting hitched and we know the date,
Friday the 29th of April 2011. However, don’t be sad, look on the
bright side because thanks to the royal ceremony the Brits get an extra day
off, perfect for a long weekend away in this exciting capital and even though
we none of us are expecting an invitation to this famous event you can still be
part of the crowd to watch the Royal couple swap vows and join in the
celebrations. Hurrah!
Whether
you’re not feeling the love with Kate Middleton right now, or you’re a faithful
fan of the monarchy a London
ceremonial event is always fun, especially one of this scale and if it means an
extra day off. In addition, it’s not just the monarchy that will be turning up
to this historical event but a huge crowd to share in the couple’s special day
and enjoy the cheery atmosphere that will reign (no pun intended) over the
wedding venue which is none other than the stunning Westminster Abbey in
London.
Some of you
may find this very tedious but those of you who are rather excited about the
royal wedding should make sure you get yourself to London and nab yourself a good spot to get
the best view of the royal couple. Plus, the Royal Mint is starting preparations
for the production of a commemorative coin to celebrate so that should be a
nice souvenir to take home with you. Let’s just put it this way, if its in London there’s guaranteed
to be a good party!
