During June and July, the Portuguese capital is just at hotbed of activities, and on its streets you can enjoy numerous concerts, festivals, art exhibitions, theatre and of course traditional fado that tints the sky of the city with its melancholy tunes. However, now that it’s summer, festivals, colour and fun will now be taking hold of the city in the form of a big festival with the traditional Festas de Lisboa that is celebrated in honour of their patron saint, Saint Anthony.
