Lisbon fish and flavours food event
From the 7th to the 17th of April, “Lisbon fish and flavours”, a popular gastronomic event held in the Portuguese capital will once again be taking place much to delight of foodies all round. Thanks to the programme of activities organised alongside the lovely grub on offer, previous year’s editions have proven to be rather popular in light of the growing number of guests received, thus this year, Lisbon fish and flavours promises to be even bigger and better yet!
The Portugal Pavilion in Lisbon's Nations' Park will once again be the gathering place for this lip-smacking gourmet festival and venue for the programme of activities lined up for food fans. If this year’s edition is anything like last year, visitors can expect live presentations by top chefs from Portugal and abroad, a considerable number of food tasting events thanks to participating restaurants which were open permanently during the festival, and an overall gastrofest during the nine days over which the event will be taking place.
Over 22,000 people attended last year, a staggering number which has delighted the organisers greatly. And, it comes as no surprise given that Lisbon fish and flavours focuses not just on fresh local fish, but plenty of other edible goods, as well as wine and beer, and music and entertainment.
