Granada is simply spectacular at this time of year especially for wandering around the Albaicín district whilst contemplating the Alhambra which rises majestically in red in contrast with the white of the Sierra Nevada in the backdrop. It is a stunningly beautiful thing to see in this enchanting city. Similarly, the cold from the Sierra Mountains contrasts with the sun that shines and lights up Granada thus allowing you to look at all the architecture dotted around the city centre, in Realejo, and in Albaicín.

Christmas is just around the corner, and there are only a couple of weeks left before families get together in the spirit of Christmas, and you can tell this by the festive atmosphere that reigns everywhere. Wandering around the streets in Granada at Christmas time transports you to a different world thanks to the lights, decorations, the Bib-Rambla market, and the Christmas carols that flood and encourage this Christmas spirit.
