Carmen Verde Luna

A Carmen is a typical Andalusian house with an interior patio, and inside this particular Carmen you get some fantastic views of the Alhambra. The Carmen Verde Luna has several terraces for some unobstructed views of the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada, and a menu based on the Granada gastronomy with dishes on offer that change in accordance with the season, an indication of the fresh food on offer here. In the Carmen Verde Luna you will find excellent meat and fish dishes accompanied by excellent wines of the region that will make this an unforgettable culinary experience whilst you contemplate, admire, and are bewitched by the beauty of the Alhambra.
Carmen Mirador de Aixa

In an unrivalled place like Albaicin, this restaurant with its vantage point is also located in an enormous Carmen offering some incredible views of the Alhambra. On the various terraces situated at different heights (and covered up in winter) you can enjoy their excellent menu comprising and successfully combining some of the most typical Granada and Mediterranean food with a touch of signature cuisine, giving rise to some beautifully presented dishes with an indescribable taste. You have to try their Cod au Gratin, or their sirloin steak served with pumpkin amongst the wide range of dishes on offer, whilst letting yourself get carried away by the red magic of the Alhambra.
Tomasas Restaurant

You get a stunning view of the Alhambra from the Tomasas Restaurant, thanks to its excellent location, in addition to its several terraces, large staircase, salons, and the way the restaurant has been organised to make sure visitors get the best and unobstructed view of the red monument. With excellent service, you can try some typical Iberian starters, salads, and wines on the menu, to then later try some of their excellent meat dishes on offer such as their peppered steak, sirloin steak, or their fish dishes that change everyday to offer their guests the best quality food. This is a really good place to try a very typical Andalusian menu in a unique and historic setting in this Carmen looking out to the Alhambra.
Morayma Restaurant

Situated in another historic Carmen in the Albaicin district in Granada is the Morayma Restaurant that has several terraces and levels from where you can admire the bewitching view of the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada, which now that we are in winter is even more beautiful thanks to the contrast of the red of the monument, and the green and white that comprises this melting pot of winter scenery in Granada. Typical Albaicin dishes are prepared in this kitchen such as the famous tortilla de Sacromonte (we won’t tell you what’s in it….), lamb chops, Albaicin beef, cod with oranges, and Pipirrana (onion, tomato, green pepper and cucumber salad). The menu on offer could not be more typical Andalusian!
