Music scene

very heterogeneous and is made up of bands both internationally and nationally
acknowledged and bands maybe not so well-known, but whose quality is
undeniable.
Every time
you listen to their albums either live or at home, you receive a piece of that idiosyncrasy
of Barcelona. Each
of the bands from Barcelona
captures an essence of the city developed during years living in their
neighbours, areas, parks, etc. That is why creating a playlist with the sounds
of Barcelona, evincing
that distinctive aroma, was so important for us.
In our
playlist Sounds of Barcelona, we have tried to give a hint of the varied range
of music styles characteristic of the Catalan city. Because Barcelona is a sparkling city,
whose cultural boiling is reflected on the huge amount of new bands arising
with that distinctive token that allows us to talk not only about a sound of
Barcelona, but of different sounds, which ultimately make up this music
crucible. Because Barcelona is much more than
its beach or Gaudí, Barcelona
is its people and its sounds.
